Homemade Tattoo Gun Electric Toothbrush In this video, i show you how to make a tattoo gun out of an electric toothbrush. Secure everything in place with electrical tape. Take your scissors and cut off all of the nylon bristles from a plastic toothbrush. The sharper the string, the easier your tattoo gun will be to use. But the issue with homemade guns, is that you can only effectively do linework with them, and due to the nature of the 'needle' (which is often either a sewing needle or guitar string, neither of which is protected against contamination), the lines are not going to be as high of a quality as an actual tattoo machine.
